The final solar eclipse of the year 2022 will occur today, October 25, 2022. This solar eclipse is also visible in India. Because of the solar eclipse on the second day of Diwali, most people will celebrate Govardhan Puja on Wednesday, October 26. A partial solar eclipse will occur on Tuesday, October 25, the day after Diwali, according to astrologer Manoj Kumar Dwivedi. It is visible in many parts of the country.

Following Diwali, on Tuesday, the year’s second and final solar eclipse occurs on the occasion of Kartik month, Shukla Paksha, Pratipada Tithi. As a result, worship in the Basukinath temple will be prohibited for approximately three and a half hours.

The solar eclipse on Tuesday will be the last of the year, with the first occurring on April 30.

The next major solar eclipse visible from India will be an annular eclipse on May 21, 2031, which will be visible from a narrow patch of land in south India.

The next total solar eclipse will be visible from India three years later, on March 20, 2034, with totality visible from the northernmost part of Kashmir.

 

The Govardhan Puja includes the preparation of annakuts, and cow dung is used to create the shape of the Govardhan. However, Govardhan Puja is considered incomplete without parikrama. On this day, cereals such as wheat, rice, gram flour curry, and leafy vegetables are cooked and offered to Lord Krishna.

Solar Eclipse 2022 or Surya Grahan 2022 Timings In India:

This solar eclipse will begin at 2:29 p.m. in India and last approximately 4 hours and 3 minutes. This time, the eclipse will last until after sunset.
The eclipse will conclude at 6:32 p.m.

This partial solar eclipse will be visible primarily in Europe, North Africa, and West Asia. In India, the eclipse will be visible in New Delhi, Bangalore, and Kolkata.
It will be visible in Chennai, Ujjain, Varanasi, and Mathura, and it is also said that this solar eclipse will be visible throughout India except in eastern India.

If possible, keep cooked food covered during the eclipse, as well as basil leaves and water in it. During the eclipse period, devotees should remember their presiding deity and chant the mantra.

Due to the eclipse on the second day of Diwali, there will be a solar eclipse shadow during the Mahaparva this time. Due to the eclipse the following day, Govardhan Puja will be celebrated on the third day of Diwali. This happened 27 years ago as well. Prior to this, a solar eclipse occurred on Diwali in 1995. In addition, the effect of the year’s final lunar eclipse will be visible on the day of Dev Deepawali on November 8, 2022.
