A clinical second-half hat-trick from Karim Benzema earned Real Madrid a place in the Champion League quarter-final with a 3-1 comeback win over Paris Saint-Germain.
The France giant arrived in the Spanish Capital defending a 1-0 first leg lead and Mbappe first half goal doubled their advantage. But a horrible error from PSG keeper presented Benzema with his first just after the hour and a quick-fire double strike in the 76th and 78th minutes earned a 3-2 aggregate victory.
PSG manager blames the challenge of Benzema to PSG keeper which lead to Real Madrid first goal of the return leg. He believe it was a clear foul and killed PSG momentum for the rest of the match. But it was surprised because he don’t complain about the first disallowed goal of Mbappe which VAR ruled out for offside.
Real Madrid will enter the last eight draw along with Man City, Bayern Munich, Liverpool and the remaining seconds legs will be play next week.
