On October 24, a fire broke out in the forest colony of Naharlagun, Itanagar, Arunachal Pradesh. Firefighters arrived and extinguished the blaze. “The fire has been brought under control,” a fire official said.

The entire area was engulfed in dark smokes emitted by the fire.

The fire started in one of the houses at the forest colony in Naharlagun, Arunachal Pradesh, near Itanagar.

 

So far, no casualties have been reported in the incident.

“The fire destroyed 15 of the Kutcha house unit’s rooms.” Properties worth lakhs of rupees, as well as several important documents belonging to the residing families, were destroyed,” a local told reporters.

The cause of the fire is still unknown.

On the other hand, a major fire broke out at a private drugs production firm in Ashok Nagar, north Chennai. The fire department was notified of the fire around 8:15 a.m., and several fire tenders were rushed to the scene. The flames were put out after two hours.

The massive fire consumed the entire structure, and several vehicles parked nearby were also charred. The area has been completely covered in the smock.

 

So far, no casualties have been reported in the incident, and the police and fire departments are assisting with the rescue. Due to the Diwali holiday, the unit was understaffed today. The extent of the damage and the cause of the fire are still unknown. The incident has been investigated by police.
