JP Nadda’s term has been extended for another year, and he will continue to lead the party until June 2024, according to Union Home Minister Amid Shah. Up until June 2024, the current Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) President will continue to lead the organization.

It was widely rumored at the BJP National Executive (NE) meeting that Nadda, whose three-year term as party leader was set to expire on January 20, would be given an extension until the Lok Sabha Elections the following year.

Nadda will continue to lead the party and its electoral strategy thanks to this extension until the upcoming general elections in 2024.

The BJP has achieved many commendable electoral victories under Nadda’s leadership, including the clear victory in Gujarat.

At the two-day NE meeting, the party emphasized the 2023 election schedule and vowed to win each of the nine upcoming Assembly elections. Party chief Nadda made a passionate appeal to party members in his statement to make sure their party doesn’t lose in even one election this year, as this will create momentum for the crucial General Elections in 2024.

The BJP has extended JP Nadda’s term as leader until June 2024. The announcement was made today to the party’s national executive by the union home minister. This indicates that the party will run Nadda in the upcoming Lok Sabha elections. Shah praised Nadda’s leadership of the party for building it up from the ground up. PM Modi is anticipated to speak during the meeting’s closing session.

Shah claimed that Covid restrictions prevented the party from conducting its membership drive, making it unwise to hold elections for the party president. Therefore, it was decided to extend JP Nadda’s term in office.
