Deori Autonomous Council Election 2022 Result Declared: On Thursday, November 9, the results of the Deori autonomous council elections in Assam were announced. The administration has made elaborate preparations to ensure that the counting process runs smoothly.

The BJP won the election for Assam’s Deori Autonomous Council (DAC), taking 12 of the council’s 22 seats.

According to an Assam State Election Commission release, the BJP and the alliance won twelve of the 22 council seats in the Deori Autonomous Council, the Congress won two, the Jannayak Janta Party (JPP) won seven, and an independent won one.

The Deori Autonomous Council election was held on November 8, and the votes were counted today.

Noticeably, 79.99 percent of voters turned out in Assam’s Deori autonomous council elections.

There are 43,595 voters in 22 constituencies spread across six districts and four sub-divisions, with 21,412 men and 22,183 women voting.

According to an official release issued by the Assam State Election Commission (ASEC), the ruling BJP has 18 candidates, the Congress has 14, the Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) has seven, the Asom Gana Parishad has four, the Raijor Dal has two, and the Assam Jatiya Parishad has one.

There are also 29 Independent candidates, according to the statement.
