Assam: On March 31, Assam Chief Minister Himanta Biswa Sarma dared AAP Delhi Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal to name him corrupt during his April 2, 2023 visit to the state.

He also challenged the Delhi Chief Minister to prove a single case against him in any area of India.

“I haven’t filed any cases yet. Is there anything pending against me around the country? I planned to bring a defamation suit, but Arvind Kejriwal spoke inside the Assembly like a coward. So send him to Assam on April 2nd and inform him that a case against Himanta Biswa Sarma is pending. “I’m going to sue him straight away,” Sarma remarked to reporters.

Days before the Aam Aadmi Party’s big political summit in Assam’s Guwahati, Chief Minister Himanta Biswa Sarma slammed his Delhi counterpart Arvind Kejriwal.

Mr. Sarma has challenged Mr. Kejriwal to visit Assam and reiterate what he recently said in the Delhi assembly.

Mr Kejriwal reportedly stated in the Delhi assembly that Mr Sarma has cases filed against him in other states.

“I challenge him to present even one case against me. What is the case against me? Let him come on April 2nd and say one word against me that I am corrupt, and I will bring a defamation action. “I did the same thing with Manish Sisodia,” he added.

Dr. Bhaben Choudhury, state coordinator of the Aam Aadmi Party, recently took a shot at Sarma and enumerated a few urban issues in Guwahati.

Choudhury turned to his personal Twitter account to complain that the city’s traffic lights had stopped working and that residents were suffering from water logging during the rainy season.

On Sunday, Arvind Kejriwal and Punjab Chief Minister Bhagwant Mann will visit Assam to enhance the Aam Aadmi Party’s presence in the state.
