Rozgar Mela: Prime Minister Narendra Modi distributed 71,056 appointment letters to newly inducted Rozgar Mela recruits via video conferencing on Tuesday. In his remarks at the event, Prime Minister Modi stated that the new recruits were being given this responsibility “in a special era.” “You are taking on this new responsibility at a unique time. Amrit Kaal has arrived in the country. We, the citizens, have resolved to make India a developed nation in this decade.

“In front of the rest of the country, all of you who will shoulder this new responsibility are being appointed as a representative of the Central Government in some ways,” he added.

“Amid pandemics and war, there is a global crisis of new opportunities for youth.” Experts in developed countries, too, predict a major crisis. In such times, economists and experts believe India has a golden opportunity to dilute its currency.

According to the prime minister’s office, the employment fair is a step toward fulfilling his commitment to prioritize job creation, and it is expected to be a catalyst in creating more jobs and providing meaningful opportunities to the youth.

PM Modi addressed the new recruits, saying, “More than 71,000 young people have received appointment letters in 45 cities as of today. Thousands of people’s homes will be filled with joy as a result of this. On the occasion of Dhanteras last month, 75,000 youths were given appointment letters.”

The initiative was launched in October, with 75,000 people receiving appointment letters. PM Modi directed that various government departments and ministries recruit 10 lakh people on a mission basis over the next year and a half.
