On November 11, Prime Minister Narendra Modi inaugurates Terminal 2 of Kempegowda International Airport in Bengaluru, which was built at a cost of around Rs 5000 crores. Terminal 2 is a tribute to Bengaluru’s Garden City, and the passenger experience is meant to be a “walk in the garden.”

In honour of Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s visit to Bengaluru, the state traffic police have imposed restrictions on vehicles travelling to the Kempegowda International Airport. Those travelling to the Kempegowda airport should take the Begur-Bengaluru road. Those attending the public function are recommended to take alternative routes recommended by the organisers.

On Friday, Prime Minister Narendra Modi inaugurated Terminal 2 of Bengaluru’s Kempegowda International Airport. The Prime Minister will also unveil Kempegowda’s 108-foot statue, known as the “Statue of Prosperity.” Kempegoda is well-known for his contributions to Bengaluru’s development.

The opening of T2 will double passenger handling capacity as well as check-in and immigration counters, greatly benefiting the people.
