Hyderabad: A 7-year-old boy was seriously injured when an SUV car, EcoSport, ran him and another child over in Chitrapuri Colony’s parking lot.
The incident occurred on February 18 at 8 p.m. The critically injured boy was taken to KIMS hospital with severe injuries. The other child was only slightly hurt.
The CCTV footage shows three boys playing in an open area between the apartment blocks. A white Ford EcoSport is seen emerging from the underground parking space and making a left turn, apparently covering the children’s blind spots. One of the three children escaped unharmed, while the other two were crushed by the wheels. Jeevansh and his 7-year-old brother, Bavin Surya, were taken to KIMS Hyderabad for treatment.

Three children were sitting on the ground playing when the driver exited the parking lot and ran over two of them. One of them received minor injuries, while the other was taken to the hospital and is in critical condition.
According to the police, the accident was caused by careless driving and failing to honk before turning.

He also revealed that one of the children, Jeevansh, is responding to treatment but remains in critical condition and has been admitted to the intensive care unit, while the other boy, Surya, escaped with minor injuries to his knee and shoulder.
