Alphabet Inc’s Google was fined 936 crore ($113.04 million) on Tuesday as India wrapped up yet another antitrust investigation this month, finding the US tech firm guilty of exploiting its market position to advertise its payments app and in-app payment system.

It was fined $162 million by the Competition Commission of India (CCI) on Thursday for anti-competitive practices related to Android.

According to CCI, Google manages the Android operating system as well as other licences, giving it an advantage over competitors in pre-installing the most prominent search entry points on Android devices, such as search apps, widgets, and the Chrome browser.
