Shraddha Walkar Murder Case: Aaftab Poonawala, the accused, has admitted to murdering Shraddha and disposing of parts of her body in Mehrauli Forest. He has also admitted to being in relationships with several other women. According to FSL sources, Aftab does not regret killing Shraddha, his live-in partner, chopping her body into several pieces, and disposing of them in various parts of Delhi-NCR as part of his plan to conceal his crime. On December 5, he will be taken for a narco-analysis test.

According to sources, Aaftab disposed of Shraddha’s cellphone after Manikpur police summoned him for questioning in response to her father’s complaint. According to sources, when he arrived in Vasai after being summoned by the police, he threw her phone into Bhayandar creek. He had also thrown away her sim card, making it impossible to pin her last location. The phone has yet to be recovered by the police.

It should be noted that a Delhi court recently approved polygraph and narco-analysis tests on Aftab. He was brought to the FSL office for the fifth time on Tuesday, amid tight security, a day after a violent sword-wielding mob attacked the Delhi Police van carrying him.

The Border Security Force (BSF) was asked to provide security outside the FSL office in light of the attack and growing public outrage. The Delhi Police, which is investigating the brutal Shraddha murder case, has gathered several pieces of evidence but has yet to recover the victim’s head and several knives used by Aftab as murder weapons.

Aftab and Shraddha, both call centre workers in Mumbai, met on a dating website and later moved in together at a rented house in Chhatarpur. Interrogation by Delhi Police revealed that Aftab murdered Shraddha because she was pressuring him for marriage. After killing her in a rage on May 18, Aftab conducted extensive research and meticulous planning before disposing of her body.
