In a major incident in Pakistan, a shooting occurred near the container of PTI Chief and Former Prime Minister Imran Khan in Wazirabad, Punjab, injuring five people. Rashid, the former PM’s manager, and Imran Ismail, the former Governor of Sindh, were both injured. Imran Khan is unharmed. According to reports, Imran Khan was shot in the leg and is in critical condition.

Former Pakistan Prime Minister Imran Khan was injured during a rally in Gujranwala, Pakistan, and was rushed to a hospital. He was seen with his right leg bandaged and being moved into an SUV. The assailant, who has been apprehended, opened fire on Imran Khan while he was standing atop a container truck to address his ongoing “long march” against the Shehbaz Sharif government.

The shooters who opened fire on Imran Khan’s rally have been identified. Images on television showed two men brandishing a gun at a rally near Imran Khan’s containerr. Pak Punjab Chief Minister Parvez Elahi has stated that those responsible for the attack will not be spared. “Those responsible for this incident will be brought to justice soon, and the injured will receive the best medical care,” Elahi said, according to the Dawn.

Khan, who was hit by a bullet, has been evacuated to an armoured vehicle by his security and is on his way to a safe location with medical facilities.
Khan is currently leading a protest march in Islamabad against the federal government, calling for snap elections.
The incident recalled how former Prime Minister Benazir Bhutto was shot dead during a rally in 2007, though Mr Khan escaped serious injury, according to news agencies.
