Guwahati Temperature: Authorities stated on Friday that people in numerous states in the northeastern region have been experiencing a change in weather, with temperatures hovering above 40°C in many places.

Maximum temperatures in various places have ranged between 36°C and 40°C, which is 5-6 degrees above typical for this time of year, according to India Meteorological Department (IMD) officials in Guwahati and Agartala.

On Monday, the maximum temperature in Guwahati was 37.7 degrees, which is 6.5 degrees higher than the usual temperature. On Sunday, the temperature hit 36.9 degrees, which was 5.7 degrees higher than the average for this time of year. Shillong, Imphal, and Agartala all experienced deviations of 4.9 degrees, 6.4 degrees, and 5.1 degrees, according to Dr Sanjay O’Neill Shaw, Deputy Director of the Regional Meteorological Centre in Guwahati.

 

Because there has been no rain for several weeks, many sections of the northeast are experiencing a water problem, particularly in hilly and rural areas.

The Indian Council of Agricultural Research and the IMD have released a number of advice to help farmers and agribusinesses deal with seasonal crops.

Health officials also issued warnings to residents to be cautious of increasing temperatures.

3. Curd

Curd is an excellent dairy product to include in your diet this summer. Meats and poultry are the most common high-protein foods, which may raise body temperature. Curd, on the other hand, is strong in protein and helps to calm the body down.

4. Citrus fruits

Citrus fruits are high in Vitamin C, which aids digestion by breaking down fatty foods. It contains antioxidants that have a cooling effect. Lime, lemon, and oranges are high in Vitamin C, making them good for treating inner and outer body heat.

The finest body cooling drink for summer is plain sugarcane juice. However, when combined with mint, ginger, and lime, it keeps you energised all day. Freshly crushed sugarcane is high in water and has cooling effects.

Finally, in the summer, your body may demand more water than you can easily consume. Consume water-rich foods to maintain your water intake high and your body temperature regular. Aside from that, we recommend that you stay indoors as much as possible, especially between the hours of 10 a.m. and 5 p.m.
