“He Is On Ventilator”-Vikram Gokhale’s Wife Denies Reports Of His Death

The wife of veteran actor Vikram Gokhale has denied his death. “He is still in critical condition and on life support. He has not yet passed away. Continue to pray for him “Vrushali Gokhale, Vikram Gokhale’s wife stated.

Vikram Gokhale’s death was announced on social media in the early hours of Thursday, prompting several Bollywood celebrities, including Ajay Devgn and Riteish Deshmukh, to express their condolences.

 

Following health complications, Vikram Gokhale is currently receiving treatment at a private hospital in Pune. The 82-year-old actor was recently admitted to the Deenanath Mangeshkar Hospital.

Vikram Gokhale was most recently seen in Nikamma with Shilpa Shetty and Abhimanyu Dassani. The film was released in theatres in June of this year. In 1971, at the age of 26, he made his film debut in Amitabh Bachchan’s Parwana. Gokhale has appeared in over 40 Marathi and Bollywood films, including Agneepath, starring Amitabh Bachchan in 1990, and Hum Dil De Chuke Sanam, starring Salman Khan and Aishwarya Rai Bachchan in 1999.

He won the National Award for Best Actor in 2010 for his performance in the Marathi film Anumati. He made his directorial debut with the Marathi film Aaghaat. Mission Mangal, Hichki, Aiyaari, Bang Bang, De Dana Dan, and Bhool Bhulaiyaa are among the actor’s other notable works.
