Ram Charan comes from one of Telugu cinema’s most prominent families; he is the son of Telugu legend Chiranjeevi, Allu Aravind’s nephew, and Allu Arjun’s cousin. Ram Charan reunited with Magadheera director SS Rajamouli for this year’s mega-blockbuster RRR, alongside Jr NTR, Alia Bhatt, and Ajay Devgn. He also appeared in Acharya alongside his father Chiranjeevi.

Ram Charan and Upasana Kamineni, who have reportedly known each other since elementary school, got engaged in December 2011. In June 2012, they married in Hyderabad.

Ram Charan is currently filming his next project, RC15, alongside actress Kiara Advani.

Ram Charan appears to have had a fantastic year both personally and professionally. His most recent film, RRR, directed by SS Rajamouli, has become a global phenomenon since its release earlier this year. RRR, which was inspired by two real-life revolutionaries who decided to fight British colonialism, also starred Jr NTR, Ajay Devgn, Shriya Saran, and Alia Bhatt in pivotal roles.
