Producer Allu Aravind has announced that a Ramayan-based film will be released in 2019. Nitesh Tiwari and Ravi Udyawar were attached to the big-budget film when it was announced. Three years later, rumors about the film’s star cast are still circulating on the internet like wildfire. The actress Sai Pallavi is rumored to be making her Bollywood debut with Ramayan. She will reportedly play the role of Sita in the mythological film.

For the past 4-5 years, the film project ‘Ramayan’ has been on paper. The film has piqued the interest of the public since its initial announcement. Early reports indicated that actors Hrithik Roshan, Prabhas, and Ram Charan had been approached for this epic mythological-tale-based film Ramayan. Meanwhile, Ranbir Kapoor is said to be the current frontrunner for the role.
