Tom Cruise has been posting videos from the set of Mission: Impossible 7 while filming there in South Africa. Tom Cruise can be seen working hard to prepare for his upcoming role in Mission: Impossible – Dead Reckoning Part One in a video released by Paramount Studios.

A new behind-the-scenes featurette examining the creation of one of Cruise’s most daring stunts to date has just been released by Paramount Pictures. The brand-new stunt was developed for the eagerly anticipated movie, which is scheduled for theatre release on July 14, 2023.

The opening of the featurette is a threatening overhead shot of a ship rolling over a cliff in Hellesylt, Norway. Over the rocky ledge, a long ramp curves up, looking over a steep drop.

 

A fresh look at the making of Mission: Impossible Dead Reckoning for the upcoming year In the first segment, the world’s most popular stuntman rides a motorcycle off a cliff and then performs a BASE jump. Tom Cruise is heard saying in the video, “This is by far the most dangerous thing we’ve ever attempted,” on Monday.

Years have gone into planning the stunt. To perfect the trick for the seventh installment of the spy thriller, Cruise practiced more than 500 skydives and 13,000 motor cross jumps. In 2020, the team performed the stunt in Norway.

 

Cruise plays Ethan Hunt, a special agent of the Impossible Missions Force, in the seventh installment of the franchise, Dead Reckoning. The movie, which is currently scheduled for release in July 2023, gets its first in-depth look in a Paramount behind-the-scenes video. View the video here:

 

He pulls off what may be his most daring act of bravery to date in one of those movies, jumping off a cliff on a motorcycle and landing in a BASE jump.

BASE jumping, for those who are unaware, is essentially parachuting—just not from an aeroplane.

A building, antenna, span, or earth is referred to as the BASE.

Basically, jumping from cliffs, bridges, tall radio towers, or skyscrapers.
