Kantara OTT Release: Kantara, directed by Vijay Kiragandur and produced by Hombale Films, will be released on Amazon Prime Video on November 4, 2022. Where and when you can watch Kantara?
Initially, the film was only available in Kannada with English subtitles. Following the film’s initial success, the creators dubbed it in Tamil, Telugu, Hindi, and Malayalam, and the box office figures have skyrocketed. According to sources, the satellite and digital rights to the film were purchased months in advance. Kantara will be available on Amazon Prime Video after its theatrical run, but due to its success on the big screen, the creators have yet to specify a release date.

On the other hand, Kantara will be the first ever Kannada movie to be screened in Ho Chi Minh City, Vietnam.

While ‘Kantara’ debuted in the Hindi market with a massive 1.27 Cr. Net on the first day, its second-day collection was 2.75 Cr. with 3.5 Cr. Net on the third day. Furthermore, despite a drop in ticket prices on Monday, the film recorded a 40 to 50% increase in collection compared to Friday, with 1.75 Cr. Net in the Hindi market, 1.88 Cr. Net on Tuesday, and 1.95 Cr. Net on Wednesday. While ‘Kantara’ continues to perform well at the box office, it has also risen to the top of IMDb’s list of India’s Current Top 250 Films.
