Actress Kangana Ranaut Back on Twitter. The national Award winning actress took to twitter and said “Hello everyone, it’s nice to be back here.” Following an opinion poll, Twitter’s new owner, Elon Musk, reinstated former US President Donald Trump’s account. Twitter should now unblock all accounts that were previously banned or suspended by its previous owner, Jack Dorsey. Foremost among those is Bollywood actress Kangana Ranaut, whose Twitter account was permanently suspended in may 2021 following “repeated violations of Twitter Rules specifically (its) Hateful Conduct policy and Abusive Behaviour policy”.
You can’t ignore Kangana Ranaut, whether you love her or despise her. The actress, who has won four National Awards for her roles in Tanu Weds Manu Returns and Manikarnika: The Queen of Jhansi, is very vocal about her views. Her statements during public appearances or on social media are frequently criticised. That hasn’t stopped her, though. Her Twitter account was permanently suspended in 2021 after she violated the microblogging site’s guidelines with a series of tweets. It has, however, been restored.
While she was accused of advocating genocide, one of her most infamous feuds was with Punjabi actor-singer Diljit Dosanjh over her remarks about farmers protesting against some of the Narendra Modi government’s laws. She had also made derogatory remarks about women protesting against a citizenship law in Delhi’s Shaheen Bagh.

On Friday, Elon Musk completed his 44-billion-dollar takeover of Twitter and immediately fired the company’s four top executives, including its Indian-origin CEO, Parag Agrawal.
Since Mr Musk spoke out against what he saw as the old management’s Left-leaning bias, his takeover has fueled speculation that he may unban people with extreme right-wing views, including former US President Donald Trump.
Kangana Ranaut, a multiple award winner, is known for her extreme, and at times heinous, views on caste, religion, and politics. She was suspended following a tweet in which she urged Prime Minister Narendra Modi to “tame” West Bengal Chief Minister Mamata Banerjee by displaying his “Virat roop from early 2000’s,” an apparent reference to the 2002 Gujarat riots, which occurred while Modi was the state’s chief minister.
