Although the first phase will be completed by the end of November, the unit will not resume production until 2023 because director Siddharth Anand will be preoccupied with the production of Pathaan, starring Shah Rukh Khan. Thanks to the director’s passion project, Shah Rukh will make his long-awaited return to the big screen in January 2023.
The director will devote December and January 2023 to his passion project, which will mark Shah Rukh Khan’s return to the big screen after an absence of more than four years. Anand will return to the Roshan-starrer only after the espionage thriller hits theatres on January 25. Fighter is Anand’s third collaboration with his leads; after Bang Bang (2014) and War (2019), he collaborated with Padukone on Bachna Ae Haseeno (2008) and the upcoming Pathaan.
