Chris Evans, who played Captain America in Marvel’s grand superhero films for nearly a decade has been named Sexiest Man Alive by People magazine. The Sexiest Man of 2022 has been revealed to be none other than our Captain America, Chris Evans. Every year, a celebrity is chosen to hold the title. It was Paul Rudd last year. Many other A-listers, including Michael B Jordan, Dwayne Johnson, Chris Hemsworth, Johnny Depp, and others, have held the title.
“My mother will be overjoyed,” he told the magazine for the cover story, which will be available on newsstands on Friday. “She’s proud of everything I do, but this is something she’s really proud of.”

When it comes to Evans, he is one of the biggest names in the industry. In addition to his role as Captain America, he has appeared in a number of successful films. Russo Brothers’ The Gray Man and Lightyear was his most recent venture.

The news first became public during Stephen Colbert’s Late Show. On the set of ‘Red One,’ the actor was crowned by his friend and former title holder Dwayne Johnson. After The Rock declares himself the “sexiest man alive in perpetuity,” the two co-stars joke about sharing the title.
