Brahmastra Part 1 On September 9, the first film in a trilogy, titled Shiva, starring Ranbir Kapoor and Alia Bhatt, was released. In the film, Alia plays Isha, Shiva’s love interest, and Ranbir plays Shiva. Only a few days after the film’s OTT release, some observant viewers noticed something intriguing while watching it online.

Part One of Brahmastra Shiva was released on September 9th and began its journey in the OTT world on November 4th. Some fans who saw Brahmastra Part I in theatres claimed to have seen Deepika in the film. Others who watched it in 2D said the actress was barely visible.

However, the OTT version dispelled all doubt. Deepika can be seen in one of the scenes, holding baby Shiva in her hands. This scene follows immediately after the intermission.

Fans confirmed Deepika after watching the film on Hotstar and flooded social media with their comments. “Here is Deepika Padukone’s glimpse from Brahmastra part one – Shiva,” one user wrote.

Another tweet read, “Today, I watched Brahmastra for the second time. I hadn’t noticed Deepika Padukone before. But this time, it was so evident that she is there in the film! She has to be there in the second part too!”


Brahmastra Part One: Shiva is the first instalment of Ayan Mukerji’s planned trilogy in the Astraverse. Amitabh Bachchan, Mouni Roy, and Nagarjuna Akkineni also appear in the film. The plot of Brahmastra follows Shiva, a DJ who discovers his strange connection to the element of fire. He also possesses the ability to awaken the Brahmastra, a supernatural weapon said to be capable of destroying creation and vanquishing all beings. Junoon, the queen of dark forces, on the other hand, is also on a quest to obtain the Brahmastra.
