Bengali Actress Aindrila Sharma passed away at the age of 24

Cancer-survivor Bengali actress Aindrila Sharma died on November 14 after suffering multiple heart attacks. On November 1, the actress was admitted to Narayana Superspeciality Hospital after suffering a brain stroke. She had an intracranial hemorrhage and required surgery for a left frontotemporoparietal decompressive craniotomy.

Following that, on November 14, the actor suffered multiple cardiac arrests, and her health deteriorated as a result. She passed away in a hospital in Kolkata. Aindrila had previously been treated for Ewing’s sarcoma with surgery and chemoradiation. She was intubated and placed on a ventilator right away. Her brain CT scan revealed a massive haemorrhage inside the left half of her brain. She was immediately transferred to the operating room, where our Neurosurgeon performed life-saving surgery to remove the brain haemorrhage.

 

The biopsy revealed that she had brain metastatic disease from Ewing’s sarcoma. Metastatic Ewing’s sarcoma is a deadly disease with a bleak prognosis. She was seen by a multidisciplinary team of Neurosurgeons, Neurologists, Critical Care specialists, Infectious Disease specialists, Medical Oncologists, Radiologists, and Radiation Oncologists.

Aindrila had previously undergone a difficult operation and multiple rounds of chemotherapy, after which she was given the all-clear by doctors. Aindrila returned to work and began shooting again after her recovery.

Aindrila Sharma was recently seen in the Zee Bangla Cinema original film ‘Bhole Baba Par Karega’ as Anirban Chakraborti’s daughter. She has appeared in many OTT projects and also played the lead actress in ‘Jibon Jyoti’ and ‘And Jiyon Kathi.’ She made her television debut in the show ‘Jhumur,’ which starred Sabyasachi Chowdhury. According to media reports, she is dating Sabyasachi Chowdhury.
