JEE Main 2023: JEE-Main, the engineering entrance exam, will be held from January 24 to 31, 2023, according to the National Testing Agency (NTA). The exam’s second session will take place in April 2023. From December 15, 2022, to January 12, 2023, applications for the exam will be accepted.

Those interested in studying engineering can take the JEE-Main exam and gain admission to undergraduate engineering programmes at recognised universities such as NITs, IIITs, and other centrally funded technical institutions recognised by state governments.

JEE MAIN 2023 Registration: Step-by-Step Guide to Fill JEE Main 2023 Application Form

  • Visit the JEE Main official website at jeemain.nta.nic.in
  • On the homepage, click on the link “JEE(Main) 2023 Session 1 Application”
  • Register yourself by entering your login information.
  • The login credentials will be sent to the registered Email ID and mobile number after registration is complete.
  • Then, use the system-generated id and password to log in.
  • Fill out the application form with the necessary information. Enter your personal and academic information as needed.
  • Scanned documents should be uploaded. Pay your JEE Main 2023 application fee online.
    Submit the form and keep a printout for future reference.

JEE (Main) – 2023 comprises two papers

The Joint Entrance Examination (Main), or JEE (Main), consists of two papers. Paper 1 is a competitive examination for admission to Undergraduate Engineering Programs (B.E/B.Tech.) at NITs, IIITs, other Centrally Funded Technical Institutions (CFTIs), and Institutions/Universities funded/recognized by participating State Governments. JEE (Main) is also a prerequisite for JEE (Advanced), which is held for admission to IITs. Paper 2 is held for admission to the country’s B. Arch and B. Planning programmes.

JEE (Main) – 2023 Exam Dates

NTA will conduct the JEE Main 2023 in two sessions- session 1 will be held in January 2023 and session 2 will be held in April 2023. The January session of the JEE Main exam will be held on January 24, 25, 27, 28, 29, 30, and 31, 2023. JEE aspirants are advised to keep an eye on the NTA’s official website, nta.ac.in, and jeemain.nta.nic.in for all the latest JEE Main 2023 updates.

 

The JEE Main entrance exam 2023 is used to shortlist candidates for undergraduate admission to institutions across the country, including Indian Institutes of Information Technology (IIITs) and National Institutes of Technology (NITs). JEE Main top scorers will be eligible to take JEE Advanced.
