Shark Tank India 2: In the most recent season of Shark Tank India, an entrepreneur who declined Peyush Bansal’s offer posted on LinkedIn that he had sold out all of his inventory in the country.

Flatheads founder Ganesh Balakrishnan appeared on Shark Tank India season 2 to seek investment for his shoe company. His pitch went viral on social media after sharks and viewers recognized a “true” entrepreneurial spirit in him.

Balakrishnan, an IIT Bombay graduate, founded three unsuccessful businesses. He launched Flatheads in 2019, but his business was harmed by the Covid pandemic. One pair of breathable shoes made from sustainable materials costs between $1,000 and $5,000.

Bansal made an offer of 75 lakh for 33% of the company, but Balakrishnan declined. Anupam Mittal, the founder of Shaadi.com, also offered him a job.

Balakrishnan’s pitch began trending on social media following the episode. The budding entrepreneur from Bengaluru, who is facing a working capital shortage, has now claimed that his inventory has been “sold out”.

Balakrishnan stated on LinkedIn, “We’ve almost sold out of our inventory in India, so please excuse us if you can’t find your size on www.flatheads.in. It would be fantastic if you could recommend our shoes to your friends in the United States and the United Arab Emirates “.

“Breaking down on national television isn’t exactly good for one’s self-esteem. What I did not expect was for the episode to be received as well as it has, and it is very heartening to see that people are applauding the entrepreneurial spirit – of all startup founders, with me acting as a proxy – “He went on to say.

Anupam Mittal of Shark Tank recently won hearts by offering a job to a pitcher until he is ready to restart his shoe brand. His fans praised him for his kind gesture and the way he guided him for his future after he shared a video clip from Shark Tank season 2 featuring the pitcher whom he offered a job. Some people have complained that the show isn’t as interesting as it was in season 1, when BharatPe co-founder Ashneer Grover was one of the sharks. Anupam, co-founder of Shaadi.com, responded to the fan in his own unique manner.

However, one of his followers found the episode boring and commented, “Ashneer Grover ji nahi hai isliye maja nahi aara hai (Ashneer Grover isn’t there, so it’s not fun).” Anupam responded, “Bigg Boss dekh lo (go watch Bigg Boss).”
