Birdie Boro makes history as the first international player to pass the APSC. He secured 66th rank in Assam Police Service (Jr. Grade) in recently conducted APSC exams. In 2012, Birdie Boro won the Sub-Junior National Table Tennis Championships. In 2017, Assam Table Tennis player Birdie Boro was chosen as one of 12 Indian male players to compete in the Ultimate Table Tennis meet. Among the male Indian players on the list were several top stars from the country, including A Sharath Kamal and Soumyajit Ghosh.
In 2013, India celebrated a rare moment of success in international table tennis as Sagarika Ghosh won the Cadet Girls singles title, while Birdie Boro had to be satisfied with a silver in the Cadet Boys singles at the Guatemala Junior and Cadet Open Table Tennis championships.

In 2016, Birdie Boro made Assam proud by achieving the 2nd position at the National level in table tennis. At that event Birdie Boro lost 9-11, 8-11, 5-11 to Cuban Livan Martinez in the final of the boys singles event.
APSC CCE Result: Assam Public Service Commission (APSC) has released the final result of the Combined Competitive Examination 2020. today, October 21. Candidates can download their results from the official website apsc.nic.in.
Six candidates were chosen for the position of Superintendent of Taxes, whereas 69 individuals, including ACS, were chosen for the APS post.
Additionally, 29 individuals were chosen for the position of Tax Inspector, whereas only five were chosen for the position of DTO.
A total of 121 applicants were chosen for the position of ACS officers. According to the official announcement, “The Assam Public Service Commission hereby declares today, the 21st of October 2022, the result of the Combined Competitive Examination, 2020 for recruitment to Services / Posts of Government of Assam. This declaration is made in accordance with the Hon’ble Gauhati High Court’s Order dated 21/10/2022 in WP (C) No. 5169 of 2020 and a batch of petitions. (Advertisement No. 8/2020 Dated 8/09/2020) The Commission conducted the interview for the aforementioned Services/Posts with the assistance of Experts sent by the Government of Assam from 26 May 2022 to 4 June 2022.
