Arunachal Pradesh PSC paper leak: The Central Bureau of Investigation (CBI) filed a case on Thursday in connection with an alleged question paper leak in an Arunachal Pradesh Public Service Commission recruitment exam (APPSC).
The case involves an alleged question paper leak during the APPSC’s written test for the position of assistant engineer on August 26-27. (civil). The complaint was filed in response to a request from the Arunachal Pradesh government and a subsequent notification by the Centre shifting the investigation of a case filed by the state police last month.
The case was filed at the request of the Arunachal Pradesh government, and the Centre issued a further notification transferring investigation of the case filed by the state police last month.
“The complainant (a candidate) had asserted that the accused (the teacher) was in possession of questions for the said examination revealing paper leakage by him in connivance with unknown APPSC officials,” according to the CBI release.

The central investigating agency stated in a release that a case had been filed against a teacher associated with a coaching institute in Itanagar and unknown APPSC officials.
The case involves an alleged leak of question papers during the APPSC’s written examination for the position of assistant engineer (civil) on August 26 and 27.
The state government has suspended the Secretary and Joint Secretary of the Arunachal Pradesh Public Service Commission (APPSC) in connection with the leak of an assistant engineer (civil) examination paper.
APPSC secretary Jayanta Kumar Ray, an IAS officer, and joint secretary-cum-controller of examination Suraj Gurung, an Arunachal Pradesh Civil Service officer, have been suspended with immediate effect, according to an official order issued by chief secretary Dharmendra.
