Hero Vida V1: Hero MotoCorp today unveiled its first electric scooter in India. The Hero Vida V1 e-scooter is priced at Rs 1.45 lakh ex-showroom. Hero Motocorp, India’s largest two-wheeler manufacturer, has entered the electric vehicle market with the introduction of the Hero Vida V1. This EV will be the first model unveiled under its new Vida brand today, October 7. The unusual two-wheeler will be unveiled at the company’s Global Centre for Innovation and Technology in Jaipur.

The Vida V1 electric scooter is available in two models: Vida V1 Plus and Vida V1 Pro. They are priced ex-showroom at Rs 1.45 lakh and Rs 1.59 lakh, respectively. The booking period will begin on October 10, 2022. They will initially be available only in Delhi, Bengaluru, and Jaipur.

In terms of specs, both of these electric scooters have a top speed of 80 kmph. While the Vida V1 Plus is expected to have a range of 143 kilometres, the Vida V1 Pro is expected to have a range of 165 kilometres in ideal conditions. According to the company, these e-scooters can be charged at a rate of 1.2 km per minute. The same will be delivered starting in December 2022. The Hero Vida V1 electric scooter will compete with the Ola S1, TVS iQube, Bajaj Chetak, Ather 450X, and others.

 

With a price tag of Rs 1 lakh, the Hero Vida V1 EV will compete against a plethora of electric scooters already on the market in India. It is expected to compete in the same category with the Bajaj Chetak, TVS iQube, Ola S1, Ather 450, and others.

Hero MotoCorp’s first electric two-wheeler, the Vida, will be manufactured at its ‘Green’ manufacturing facility in Chittoor, Andhra Pradesh. When it is released, it will compete with the TVS iQube, Ola S1, Bajaj Chetak, Ather 450X, and others. Hero’s Vida V1 series electric scooters are expected to be delivered by the end of this year.
