A non-financial memorandum of understanding is signed on 28th March, 2022 between ASRLM and SELCO Foundation (SF) at the office of the State Mission Director, ASRLM in Guwahati.
SELCO Foundation (www.selcofoundation.org) is anot for profit, public charitable trust having its regional office at Guwahati, has been working to address other SDGs through Sustainable Development Goals-7 by ecosystem development approach.
The MoU is being signed for demonstration of entrepreneurship with Decentralized Renewable Energy (DRE) solutions for improvement oflife and livelihoods, make it as accessible, affordable and impactful to the SHG women under ASRLM, other rural communities and SHG institutions through promotion of solar powered Mini Hatchery, ASOMI Seva Kendra, Eri SilkSpinning, Tray Dryer and Animal Vaccine. This will make the rural economy resilient to future pandemics. The project will be implemented by ASRLM through its Staff and Community Institution network with technical and partial financial support from SELCO Foundation across the State of Assam.
