Guwahati’s Air Quality index is a matter of concern for resident. This friday Guwahati witnessed a sand storm and the Air Quality index went down to 220.
AQI of Guwahati ranged between 220-315 in last 10 days. As on 17th, 18th and 20th March the AQI crossed 300 and was marked “Very Poor”

Guwahati has also been facing tremendous heat and since last 15 days as the temperature level in the city raised to 34-35 degree and above.
