On Friday, a mother and daughter committed suicide at a rented house in Guwahati.
According to sources, the mother’s body was discovered hanging with her 7-year-old at Sijubari Chariali in Hatigaon.
According to a video that circulated before the woman committed suicide, she claimed that her husband physically and mentally abused her.
“I didn’t get peace while I was alive; please pray for me to get peace after I die,” she said.
Her husband used to wander around at night, keeping them at home, and beat her after being influenced by his family members.

Meanwhile, the police arrived on the scene.
The husband reported to the police that the duo committed suicide while he was at work.
Before the cops arrived, the husband took down the bodies.
The police have arrested her husband, Azad Ali, based on allegations made in the video.
