An East Guwahati Police District (EGPD) team from the Jorabat Outpost of the Basistha Police Station arrested three persons in two separate incidents for smuggling 40 cattle, which were being carried in two trucks towards Meghalaya.
According to police sources, the arrested culprits are Asabul Ali (29) of Kathuri, Surender Lohar (26) of Samuguri and Ali Ansari (21) of Ulani.
