A mother from Assam is attempting to break a world record. Pratima Devi Kalita (প্ৰতিমা দেৱী কলিতা), a mother of two children and a swimming instructor, plans to swim for 12 hours straight from 6 a.m. to 6 p.m. in the winter. Pratima Devi Kalita , who is over 46 years old, is currently hard at work on the same.

Pratima Devi Kalita participated in the Dr Zakir Hussain Aquatics Swimming Pool in Guwahati’s swimming marathon on December 11 from dawn to dusk. Pratima Devi Kalita (who is attempting to set a swimming world record) will swim courtesy of The Resistance E-Sports.
