How To Register At Assam Arohan Scheme for Mentor and Mentee (আৰোহণ পৰ্টেলত পঞ্জীয়ন কেনেকৈ কৰিব?): Arohan Scheme Assam is a mentor-mentee project for talented Assamese kids in grades 9 to 12, where a mentor will guide up to 5 pupils for four years on various skills and development.
In its cabinet meeting on June 25, 2022, the Assam government launched a new flagship plan for meritorious students named the Arohan scheme.

WHAT IS AROHAN SCHEME ASSAM?
Arohan Scheme Assam is a mentor-mentee project for talented Assamese kids in grades 9 to 12, where a mentor will guide up to 5 pupils for four years on various skills and development.

Arohan Scheme Assam is scheduled to begin in the academic year 2022-23 and will be unveiled on August 15, 2022. The Assam government has set aside 5.96 crores for this scheme or project.

The Role Of Chief Mentor includes;
A committee will be formed to choose a pool of mentors.
To notify the Mentors of their roles and obligations. To help the Mentors get started.
To keep track of individual Mentors/Mentees’ progress.
To hold quarterly reviews with the Mentors.
To communicate with the state level and keep the status up to date.
On August 15th, two outstanding Mentors will be honoured based on parameters.
SCHOOLS ELIGIBLE FOR AROHAN SCHEME ASSAM
The following schools are eligible for Arohan Scheme Assam.
- Government Schools
- Provincialised Schools
- Adarsha Vidyalays
- Kasturba Gandhi Balika Vidyalayas (KGBV)
Assam has a total of 4,375 schools in the aforementioned categories. According to the cabinet decision, 4,375 pupils would be chosen for the Arohan Scheme. As a result, one student from each school will be chosen.
STUDENTS SELECTION FOR AROHAN SCHEME
Arohan will serve 4,375 students in secondary courses from Government/Provincialized Schools, Adharsha Vidyalaya, and KGBV. Refer to the previous section for a list of schools that are eligible.

Because there are 4,375 schools, 1(one) student from Class IX at each school will be eligible for the Arohan Scheme.

Steps for Assam Arohan Mentor Registration
1. Go to http://arohan-ssa.assam.gov.in/
2. Click Mentor Registration
3. A form will open. Please fill in the details for generating Username and Password.
4. After Username and Password is generated, please continue to complete your profile
or login back later with your “mobile number” as username and password, as set by
you in step-2, to complete your profile.
5. Mentor can login back to their profile by visiting the Arohan portal http://arohanssa.assam.gov.in/ and clicking Login as “Chief Mentor/ IS/ Mentor/ Mentee Login”
BENEFITS OF AROHAN SCHEME
Arohan Scheme Assam would last four years, from Class 9 to Class 12. Each year, a total of 4,375 pupils from Assam’s 4,375 schools will be chosen from Class 9.
Each student will have a mentor to guide them during this four-year period on various skills. Aside from that, money will be transferred straight to each student’s bank account over a four-year period.
Aside from that, these pupils would be eligible for Assam and Indian government scholarships.
